Funeral for Linda Fay Turner Banta, 65 will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday November 17th, 2012 at Ladusau Evans Funeral Home. She was born April 4th, 1947 in Chickasha OK., the daughter of Elgin William and Lyda Lucreta (Harmon) Smith and called home Monday, November 12, 2012 in Enid OK.
She was a graduate of Ravia High School and Murray State College. She worked as a bookkeeper and real estate owner/broker in Oklahoma and later as an accounting manager in Texas until illness forced her early retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her stepmother, Gwendolyn Katherine Smith, one sister Katherine Litschke and husband Larry, ex-husband Harvey Turner, friend Paul Sherman and family, two daughters, Paula Gordon and fiancé Paul Martin and Betty Garcia; five grandchildren, Larry, Taylor, Chuy, Adrian, and Naomi, two step-grandchildren Katie and Landon, 3 nieces and 3 nephews; as well as many friends she loved as family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Lucreta Lynam, one brother Billy Smith, one step-brother Kenneth Moss, and one niece.
