Robert (Bob) Henry Banks born to Vertis and Laverna Banks on January 13, 1964 in Hutchinson, KS, joined his father and son on December 10, 2012.
Services will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Temple Baptist Church at 10 am. Pastor Dan Alonso will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2012 from 6-7 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Bob met Valerie Vinsonhaler in 1983 and wed in 1987 in Hutchinson, KS. Bob was a man who lived life to the fullest. He had many hobbies including working on vehicles, fishing, water skiing, motorcross and riding his motorcycle. He lived for his family and helping others. Family always came first, whether it be working together, camping, skiing, fishing or bike riding. He firmly believed in helping others and was a member of the Downed Bikers Association. Bob became a roofer and made a lifetime career of it. He began working for Standard Builders of Enid, OK in 2004 and considered them his second family.
Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, Valerie; sons, Brandon and Alan; daughter, Amber ; 6 grandchildren, mother, Laverna Banks, sister, Sharon Gumpenburger; brother, Jimmie Banks; and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Vertis; sister, Jimma Lee and son, Andrew.
