Arlene Bachman

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Arlene J Bachman, 78, of Enid, will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014, 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church in Waukomis with Pastor David Jones officiating. Cremation was under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Arlene was born August 19, 1936 in Nash, OK the daughter of Garrie and Leta Seger Kingsley and passed away October 19, 2014. She was a graduate of Nash Public Schools and also Enid Business College. Arlene was united in marriage to Eugene George Bachman November 23, 1955 in Enid, OK. She was employed at Champlin Refinery and Vance Air Force Base, before moving with her husband and children to several different Air Force Bases where her husband was stationed. Arlene and her husband returned to Enid in 1972 after her husband’s retirement from the Air Force. She was then employed at Sears, Pioneer Pleasant Vale Elementary School and later the Enid State School where she retired in 1988.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene, one son, Dale John Bachman and his wife Linda in Warrensburg, MO, a daughter, Gayle Malia Bachman of Enid, four grandchildren, Lisa Marie Snow and her companion Chaeton, Ericia Lynn Steakley Starzmann and her husband Adam, Michelle Renee Bachman and Eric Michael Bachman, eight great-grandchildren, Austin Jay Coope, Unity Mariss Snow, Dominick Steven Roth, Chaeton Ross Jines, Monet Raeanna Jines, Adam Robert Starzmann, Julie Fay Starzmann, Abigail Dawn Starzmann and one on the way, Zaine Jines and one sister, Irene Stone of Enid.
