Funeral services for Robert “Bob” L. Allman age 72 of Enid will be 10 am Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Rev Don Tines will officiate. Graveside will be at the Forest Park Cemetery in Anthony, Kansas under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
He was born May 10, 1939 in Kansas City, Kansas, adopted by Elijah J. Allman and Mildred M. Gardner and passed away suddenly Saturday evening, October 15, 2011 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
He attended Enid schools and dropped out of high school to join the U.S. Navy in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1963.
He married Marlene Grasser on February 4, 1974 in Enid. They were married for 37 years.
He worked for the Vance Fire Dept for 2 years and with the Enid Fire Dept for 22 years retiring in 1986. He drove a school bus for Chisholm School district. He was an avid bowler, in three bowling leagues, director of Enid Bowling Association.
He is survived by his wife Marlene of the home,

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister Mary Lou Rosebrough, brothers Perry and Arthur, and brother-in-law Melvin Miller.
Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Heart or Cancer divisions with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
