Obituary for Christina Balch (Johnson)
A memorial service for Christina Marie Balch, age 56, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, May 26, 2023 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home & Crematory.
Christina was born May 5, 1967 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Harry Arthur and Trela Fay (Chastain) Johnson, and passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 in Enid.
Christina graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1986. She married Larry Jay Balch, Jr. on September 22, 1987 at Central Christian Church. Together they have two sons, Austin and Christopher. She worked at Vance Airforce Base for ASRC Federal for the past four years. She and Larry enjoyed camping at various different state parks all over Oklahoma, and Branson, Missouri. She liked to knit, crochet and tatting, which is an intricate type of crochet.
Christina’s parents precede her in death, as well as a granddaughter, Evelyn Balch. She is survived by her husband, Larry, of the home in Enid; sons, Austin Balch and wife Claudia, of Bartlesville, OK; Christopher Balch, of Enid; brother, Art Livingston and wife Karen, of Enid; five grandchildren; grandson, Kamden Rodriguez, of San Antonio, TX; Tara Balch, of Enid; Ashton Balch, of Enid; Bentley Balch, of Enid; and Owen Balch, of Bartlesville, OK.
Memorial contributions in Christina’s name may be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
