Obituary for John William Richey
Funeral services for John William Richey will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Kremlin Community United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Kremlin Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
John was born August 15, 1933 in Kremlin to William and Mary (Taylor) Richey, and passed away January 8, 2023. He went to Kremlin schools through high school. John enjoyed growing up on the family farm. He attended OSU before being drafted into the Army. After his discharge John went to work at Hackney Iron and Steel, and then went to work at Boeing. He then went to Wichita State University, and worked at Cessna. John stayed there till his retirement.
John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Richey; children, Rita Richey Bradfield and husband Ken, Richard Richey; sister, Donna Richey.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Eldon and Robert.
