A Graveside service for Dana Sue Wade will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, at Hennessey Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Dana was born February 9, 1957 in Enid to Robert and Mary (Fern) Reschke and passed away May 14, 2021 after an extended illness. She attended Enid Public Schools and attended Garriott Road Church of Christ. During grade school, junior high and high school Dana was an avid roller skater. She participated in many skating competitions. During her adult life, Dana grew, hybridized and showed irises. She was a member of the local iris society. Dana also became a qualified iris judge and judged flower shows in many parts of Oklahoma. She enjoyed hunting arrowheads with her late father. Dana’s passion was hunting and collecting antique pottery, namely the “Fleur de Lis” pattern.
Dana is survived by her son, Justin Wade; grandchildren; companion, Don Edwards; father of her child, Bruce Wade; Bruce Wade; sister, Ann Dougherty; aunts and uncles, Emma Copeland; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bob Reschke; aunt, Bertha.
