Graveside services for Jack Baker, age 77 years, of Waukomis, are 10:00 am, Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Waukomis Cemetery Chapel. Pastor David Jones of Waukomis Christian Church will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 30, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jack was born March 27, 1940 in Topeka, Kansas to Dale and Alice (Nelson) Baker, and passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at The Commons in Enid.

After moving to Oklahoma, Jack married Barbara Sutten (Niell) on July 8, 1977 in Enid, OK .

Jack worked for Singer Steel, Chestefield Cylinder and the City of Enid.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Hein and husband, Greg of Enid; step-sons David Sutten and wife Kim of Colorado Springs, CO and John Eric Sutten and wife Terri of Lewisville, TX; brother, Dale Baker and wife Donna of Tecumseh, KS; sisters, Robin Baker of Decatur, MI and Alma Langegger of Kitimat, British Columbia; granddaughters, Kyleigh and Dyani Hein of Enid and many nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara, sons, Jackie Dean and Matthew; sisters, Delores, Mary and Pauline.

Memorials in Jack’s name may be made to go toward funeral expenses with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
