Condolences

Condolence From: Mary Lou Heltzel
Condolence: Dear Marla, Kerri, and Andy,
My sincere sympathies on the loss of your father. Bob was a much loved and admired pastor here in Sulphur. He was loving and wise and could think on his feet during a worship service better than anyone I knew. Nothing threw him and he always had a funny and kind response to anything that happened. I loved working with him and with Ramelle in the music program of the church. No one could have shepherded us through the merger of First and St. Paul as well as he did. One of my fondest memories will always be of Bob and several of the older men of our church posing on the roof as they worked on the new building. They were what we fondly called our "Drill Team" (electric drills).
What a blessing that we have the hope and promise of a reunion in Heaven someday with Bob and Ramelle. We were blessed to know them.

Condolence: I have fond memories of Bob when he was pastor of
Bixby First United Methodist Church. I started jogging
with him and did not know he was preparing me to participate in the Tulsa Run. With his encouragement we participated three years in a row. One morning he showed up all bruised up, he explained that while riding his bicycle and crossing the railroad tracks he lifed up on the handle bars only to go tumbling over them to the pavement as the front wheel came off. Bob was a gentleman
and represented his Lord and Savior well.

Condolence: My dear Doris, I am so sorry to read of your loss. I can't imagine how much pain and loneliness your heart is feeling for Bob right now, but as God promises, no tear is wasted - so let them fall. Each one is healing.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the difficult days ahead. I am so thankful that you are a child of God - knowing that you will lean on Him for the peace and comfort that you need to get you through. Love you - Melody

Condolence: Dear Moody family: Your father was a much loved Pastor in Nardin, OK. Many people here are saddened by his death but celebrate his home going! He officiated at our wedding and when we took one of our wedding pictures, he was standing between us. After the picture he looked at both of us and said, "Let this be the last time anyone comes between you". We all laughed, but we knew he was giving us a bit of sound advice. We are still together after 47 years.
Dearly loved your father!

Condolence: Dear Moody Family,
I've known Bob Moody for a long time and have worked with him in his church and in revival meetings as his song leader. Doris, I've known two United Methodist Ministers who came to the Oklahoma Panhandle from Mississippi and I loved them both during my time in the Oklahoma Panhandle working with Jim Smith and Bob Moody.
I've grown in my faith and I am a better person after working with them. Doris and family: "May the Warmth of God's love embrace you, May the compassion of those who care surround you, and May the joy you once shared brighten your days, with the assurance that love lives forever."

Condolence: Reverend Moody made a wonderful impact on my life as a child. Spending time in his home with his family as a friend of Marla's I will always remember the laughter and love. He meant the world to our little church community in Nardin and and my parents continued to speak about him for years, always with a smile on their faces.

We thank the Lord for the life of this man and pray for peace for his family knowing he left the world a better place.
