Condolence From: Diana Bridgforth

Condolence: Mr. Fluman was my world history teacher in 1966. I really enjoyed him as a teacher. He and Miss Adams are the only teachers I remember. He used to throw pieces of chalk at the pigeons when they got too loud. He liked to drop a book behind a sleeping student and make them jump, but he was always willing to stay behind and listen to anyone who needed an ear. He made history interesting.
I am sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Mr. Fluman....he could come across as really mean, but he genuinely cared about his students. If you were having a problem, you knew you could count on him for an encouraging word, no nonsense advice, and an ever present bag of candy. His influence has been far reaching by many of his former students. He was not shy about sharing his love for his family, or his Lord. God Bless Him and may he forever Rest in Peace.

Condolence From: Clay Gengler

Condolence: I had Mr. Fluman for History when I was at EHS in the 70s. He ruled with an iron fist, which I needed.

He was very influential in my life as a young Christian in the 70s. I became a Christian on Jan. 7, 1977 at SWOSU and attended Emmanuel Bapt. when I was home from school.

Mr. Fluman was so easy to talk with and I loved his humor too. He was greatly respected. He was a man's man.
