Obituary for Jacqueline Joan Palmer (Webster)

A Celebration of Life Service for Jacqueline “Jackie” Palmer age 78 of Enid will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamont Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jackie was born January 17, 1938 in Blackwell, OK to George “Dick” and Rosalie Schnebele Webster and passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 in The Commons. Jackie was raised in the Deer Creek Community graduating from Deer Creek High School in 1955. She attended nursing training at Enid General Hospital graduating as a Registered Nurse. She married Ralph Palmer on October 17, 1958 in Enid and he passed away February 18, 2008. She traveled with Ralph while he was in the military moving to Lamont in 1975. They moved to Enid in 1988. She worked in Blackwell at the hospital and later started working for Bass Hospital retiring after several years. She was a member of the Deer Creek Mennonite Church and a member of TOPS.
Jackie is survived by her children; William(Bill) Palmer and his wife Diana of Liberty City, TX, Kathy Oberlender and husband Hal, David Palmer and wife Gale, and Leroy Palmer all of Enid, grandchildren Kias, Elizabeth, Kevin, Hal, Michele, Alexandria and Samantha, three great grandchildren, brother Roger Webster and wife Elaine of Deer Creek, OK and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
